You can cover an entire series of workstations using one agile wall-traveling crane for virtually the entire length of your building.
Features of Spanco Wall-Traveling Jib Cranes

Jib boom is fabricated from standard “S” beam with vertical angle truss to reduce deflection; jib boom and truss bolt onto the back frame—no welding needed

End trucks are constructed from channel beam frames and resist twisting; the end trucks are jig-fixed for optimal fit and travel. End trucks bolt onto the jib’s back frame

Top-running end trucks include double-flanged crane wheels made from forged steel for long service life

Crane drive has an electric motor with worm gear reducer

Two-speed controls include mainline contactor, control transformer, inverter acceleration control, and fuses in NEMA 3R, 4, or 12 enclosures

Variable frequency drives (VFDs) for multi-speed operation

Our most economical cranes, the Tie-Rod 301 Series, has no support structure under the boom, so the trolley hoists can travel virtually the full length of the boom

Design uses a standard I-beam and single tie rod to eliminate off-center loading problems

Top and bottom wall brackets utilize a formed steel channel, with two bronze bushings, bronze thrust washers, and formed tie-rod clevises

The self-cleaning enclosed track protects the trolley from dust, debris, and other environmental factors and ensures accurate trolley wheel alignment to minimize friction and wear.

Spanco Mast-Style Jib Cranes provide full 360-degree rotation while eliminating the cost of a special foundation, which can cost more than the crane. As a lower cost alternative to freestanding jib cranes, these full-feature mast-style cranes:

Are bolted to the floor and existing overhead support structure (e.g., steel beams)

Require no special foundation, but only a standard 6-inch reinforced concrete floor

Are available with power rotation on all models

Uses wide-flange beam or I-beam for the boom and a wide-flange beam for the column

The top assembly has self-aligning spherical bearings

Spanco Mast-Style Jib Cranes provide 360-degree crane rotation and can be rotated manually or by power. They bolt to floor and building’s steel beams, eliminating costly special foundations. The drop cantilever 201-Series uses side-plate connections to permanently “drop mount” the boom at any specified height on the mast. Drop cantilever booms allow for clearance from overhead obstructions that are located below the top of the mast.
